VISITOR VISAS
A visitor visa is required for a non-Canadian person who wishes to visit Canada. The basic requirements for a visitor visa are: proof the visitor will have enough money to support his or her self; and return airplane ticket or proof of enough funds to buy an airplane ticket. It also generally helps to be able to show the visitor has strong ties to the country of origin (such as family living there and/or a job to return to) to ensure the visitor will return to the country of origin.
