EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS
When starting a business in Canada, most organizations will need to hire employees. When employees are hired, it is important to have employees sign a formal employment agreement. A properly prepared employment agreement will set out the terms of employment clearly. This will help to prevent costly disagreements later over the terms of employment.

There are many terms that need to be negotiated. Some of these terms would be: salary; duties and responsibilities; length of contract; non-competition if the employee leaves the company; etc.
